Black

He was a tall, dark, but not handsome.
And everything about him was black,
His hair,
His eyes,
His skin,
Even his life.
It was black and dull.
No stars,
No moon,
No presence of single light above.
He was lifeless,
No home,
No friends,
No family,
No one cared about him–
Cause he was black.
He was judged by his color,
He was beaten because of his race,
He was mocked because he was different,
And he had suffered and bleed until death because he was black.
